About us
We are a Primary Care Network (PCN) of four thriving GP practices providing care for our population of over 70,000 people in North Bristol, consisting of:
- Pembroke Road Surgery
- The Family Practice, Western College
- University of Bristol Students’ Health Service
- Whiteladies Medical Group
We work together and in partnership with our patients to improve clinical services and enhance the health of the local population.
When did we form?
Healthwest was initially formed in 2015 when, as a group of like-minded practices, we identified the need to work together to develop integrated care services. Healthwest then became an official PCN in 2019 after the government introduced PCNs as part of the NHS Long Term Plan.
